Windows 7!! It's better than what you would expect!
I had tried the beta versions and am sure its going to be the best operating system on the planet. Google will of course sweat it out to make the steal the thunder but with the experience Microsoft has I am pretty sure Google will fall short. Chrome which was supposed to be built from "ground up" but has failed to live up to the hype with the many security threats to it (alas!), its fast but we didn't want to be hacked that fast too!!
Coming back to Windows 7, there is no need to install drivers for this baby to work, it just detects everything needed and is ready once installations is complete ~standing ovation~. I didn't even have to install the drivers for my inbuilt Intel Ethernet Controller.
The new features such as Aero Peek which allows you to get a quick preview on the taskbar, makes it so much easier to navigate (especially when you have multiple tabs on Internet Explorer and want to go to a particular tab & such kind). The Speech Recognition works wonderfully too, I tried my vocal cords on it and was totally sold to the tutorial but am so used to using my mouse that , it's not easy to make the switch to talking to my computer instead of messing it with my hand.
All said Windows 7 is definitely worth saying byes to the good old XP and moving on.

This is a club in Netherland where you dont have to pay with your credit card but a microchip in you and a scanner will do the job for you, this may be the future of money, the new silicon money!!!

Microsoft's next release of windows which was code named Vienna earlier has been rechristened as Windows 7 and is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2010, Microsoft has already shipped the first release Windows 7 Milestone 1 to some its corporate partners and Windows 7 MS2 is expected to be ready soon.
